My Bio
My name is Martin, and I am a 23-year-old History major from Denmark. My photographic endavour started in in 2008, when my parents bought be a small, compact digital camera. I had always been fascinated by photography, but this purchase is what really got me started. I work within different genrres and with a basic philosophy: I try to find something, which people do not notice, as they pass it by. Scenes, that might be changed tomorrow - or even in a minute. There is something worth saving about the things, that might be forever gone any moment. And that is what I do. It might seem too simple, but I find it very challenging. There is only the photographer to set the standard as far as that goes.

I have for the longest time now had a personal relationship to what photography is, and how it ought to be acted out. The following is the basic line of thinking, that lays behind my work. Firstly, and most obviously, photography is subjective. As obvious as it may seem, some photographers have a tendency to forget that in their work. They are, in effect, cleansing photography of its subjectivity in an attempt to grasp its purest core. Some new photographers, in trying to do the same, might give up. The common denominator is the fact that the "purest form" doesn't exist. Even in objective news coverage, photographers are different.
